Project Case Study
October is an app in development that will be used by high school juniors & seniors to help them sort and select their future college. I was brought on to create the branding for the app.
Brand Strategy & Design
The whole goal of this branding project was to create a clean, modern feeling of fall. The app is named October because it is the time of the year college campuses are buzzing, and high school students are finalizing their applications. To fit the name, we went with a fall color palette with a modern twist with the addition of teal and streamlined Lato font. The pumpkin symbol is the O in October overlapping to create a ven diagram that represents not only the pros and cons list that students make when selecting their college but also how the app is the central connection point between the schools and the students.
