Project Case Study
Remote Nurse Connection is the premiere remote nursing job board and resource hub online! The owner and remote nursing expert, Andrea Bossel, reached out to rebrand her original business and to build an online hub for her remote nurse resources, such as a free & premium job board, an online course for HEDIS positions, and funnels for various freebies! This project was a 6-month labor of love, and I was hired to be the lead designer and project manager. This entire website was only possible with help from copywriter and SEO expert Kat Jackson and various website developers to build out the full functionality of her job boards.
Brand Strategy & Design
Andrea’s original business was The Grind Connection, which was self-branded. She chose to work with me to create a custom branding package and complete marketing aesthetic when she rebranded to Remote Nurse Connection. After researching her competitors, we settled on a soft, neutral color palette rooted in greens, pinks, and tans. We chose olive green as her main color since it was unlike anything in her industry and promoted a calming yet professional feeling. We chose a mix of modern, sophisticated fonts with a fun, quirky script to find the perfect balance of professional and fun-loving to match the trustworthy yet light-hearted expertise Andrea brings to her business.

Website Design & Development
Once we completed her branding, we started her entire website development project. The main goals for the site are to promote all of her incredible remote nursing resources, position Andrea as the industry expert she is, and promote her paid membership, services, & courses. The most significant draw of Remote Nurse Connection is the free and paid job boards that are unlike anything in the industry when it comes to functionality & design. Users can search for highly vetted remote nursing jobs in the US and Canada. Paid members get to see job listings five days early and additional resources like a company database and unique tools to land dreamy remote nursing positions.
I designed the entire site to be perfectly on brand and aesthetically pleasing no matter the page or functionality while keeping in mind high-converting design tactics and emphasizing positive user experiences. I meticulously chose imagery that matched her brand aesthetic and fun design accents to give a welcoming feel to her design.
