Hey There, I am Megan.
I am a branding strategist and web designer for female-owned service-based businesses like yours! As a tech-savvy millennial, I have always loved making things beautifully organized and helping people. Whether by designing locker signs for the football players — I cheered for every Friday night in high school or making eye-catching presentations for my college assignments, if I got to be creative, I was all over it. Little did I know that I was doing graphic design.
After college, I spent four years in corporate America, with the most time in real estate, but I never found a role that truly fulfilled me. No matter the job, I was always willing to help with creative marketing tasks.
In the summer of 2017, I left my steady 9 to 5 to set out to grow my graphic and web design skills so that I could freelance for small businesses and follow where my heart was leading me personally, to be with my now husband Brian, who is an officer in the US Navy. In less than a month, I landed my first client, which is when Zestful Media & Design was born.
Over the last five years, I have helped clients across the country & world to improve their companies’ recognition through done for your web design and brand strategy services as well as DIY courses & masterclasses that I host in my Facebook community, Bosses Building Brands. My clients are scaling to 6 figures & booked out months in advanced, and being a support system in their business growth has truly been my bliss in this digital age.
I am thrilled to be growing this virtual company that I can move anywhere the Navy wants to send us next and the flexibility I can create to raise our son Beckett. But I know I can’t do it all on my own, so I am on a mission to provide work opportunities for fellow military spouses and choose to rely solely on female-run businesses when I am in need of extra help with my own.
In the last year, my business has soared to new heights, and I am forever grateful for all of my clients who have helped me get to this point. I have come a long way since making locker signs, but now I am a cheerleader of brands and ready to be yours!
That being said, I have a wealth of knowledge, tips, and tricks that can truly help take your biz marketing to the next level, so I thought sharing those golden nuggets of info would be a great reason to start a blog! So here I am. I hope to post at least once a week, and publishing that goal in this post will make it much more likely that I will. I will cover all things branding, logos, marketing, web design, funnels, lead generation, customer journeys & more.
